Aftershocks hit New Zealand.

An aftershock has rocked earthquake ravaged city of Christchuch, New Zealand. No serious damage or injuries have been reported.

The Geological Survey U.S  says the 5.5-magnitude quake struck Monday 14 miles west of Christchurch at a depth of just under 2 mile.

Christchurch has been rocked by scores of aftershocks since a devastating earthquake struck the city in February, killing 181 people. The February quake was New Zealand's most expensive natural disaster, costing an estimated $15 billion.

Monday's quake knocked items off store shelves, but officials say there have been no reports of serious damage or injuries.

Newstalk ZB's Amanda South says it was the biggest aftershock she's experienced since February 22nd.
